Nashville

It’s crazy how you can drive for 9 hours and go through so many different states.  We left Kansas & drove through Kansas City, which brought us into Missouri.  Next was St. Louis in Illinois.  Then we went through part of Kentucky before reaching Tennessee.  We arrived in Nashville on Monday afternoon.  We were glad we could set up the trailer for 10 days.
Was exciting to see directions to all these cities!

Our campsite in Nashville North

We had a relaxing Monday evening, had a campfire and some much needed down time.  Our campsite offers a free shuttle to Broadway Street, downtown Nashville, where all the action is.  We grabbed the afternoon shuttle & enjoyed exploring the action in Nashville.  Every bar has live music. Our first stop was 2 guys on guitars.  We enjoyed the music at Tequila Cowboy, then headed to the next place.  This took us to Honky Tonk Central.  Here we had a band entertaining and they were great!  Took requests and played a great variety of music.  After we were there for abit the band informed everyone table 2 where we were sitting was considered the drunk table and we had a reputation to live up to...whaaat???  We gave it our best shot but other patrons deemed us unfit.  We had fun dancing & enjoying the music.

Then it was off to the Grand Ole Opry.  We had great seats and really enjoyed the experience.  The history there is amazing and it was fun to be part of that.  We heard 6 acts, including Montgomery Gentry who were celebrating 10 years in the Opry with Dustin Lynch closing the show.
